Data was collected using Publish or Perish 8 software from Google Scholar, with the keywords “theological education in the digital era” and “online curriculum design” within the publication range of 2014 to 2024. From the initial 200 pieces of literature identified, a rigorous screening process was conducted based on title, abstract, and keywords, resulting in 23 relevant articles. Next, a thorough analysis of the full content of the articles was conducted based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in the selection of 11 articles suitable for further study. The results revealed various trends, challenges, and strategies in the development of online curriculum for theological education, including the integration of digital pedagogy, contextual theological frameworks, and learner-centred learning models. This qualitative library research gathers data from tafsir works, Arabic dictionaries, and literature related to Izutsu’s semantic theory. The findings reveal that the basic meaning of qaşd as-sabīl is “the intended purpose of a path,” which, in its semantic relations, may refer to the straight path, salvation, guidance, Islamic law, and others. Historically, the meaning evolved from a general context (pre-Qur’anic), to more theological and specific (Qur’anic), and then to interpretive and contextual meanings (post-Qur’anic). The worldview behind this term shifted from general life purposes to the mission of conveying Islamic teachings. The diversity of interpretations is due to a structured relationship between its core meaning and its relational meanings shaped by semantic networks, historical context, and worldview constructions. Medical personnel acknowledge placebo effects and psychological dimensions of prayer water through psychoneuroimmunology mechanisms. Both perspectives agree that belief and positive suggestion play important roles in healing, with prayer water functioning as complementary therapy that does not replace primary medical treatment. The findings show that the trend of social inequality on TikTok reflects real and structural disparities in Indonesian society, particularly in terms of wealth, education, and employment. These digital representations highlight a deep-rooted crisis of justice that goes beyond economics. Shihab’s interpretations emphasize Islamic values such as justice (‘adl), balance (al-mīzān), and collective responsibility as foundational principles for addressing inequality. This study aims to analyze the views of Augustine and Martin Luther on the relationship between human freedom and bondage, particularly in the context of sin, grace, and salvation. Using a qualitative method with a literature review approach, this study examines relevant primary and secondary works to compare the two perspectives. The findings reveal that Augustine acknowledges the corrupted human will yet retains the capacity to respond to grace, while Luther emphasizes the total bondage of human will to original sin, rendering humanity incapable of choosing good without divine grace. Macrostructure is related to the topic: gratitude, brotherhood, peace, exemplary, service, love, forgiveness, repentance, humanity, diplomacy of truth, forgiveness, freedom and justice. Superstructure is done by placing it at the beginning of the paragraph as an emphasis. Microstructure includes semantics, syntax, stylistics and rhetoric. Cheng Beng is carried out through cleaning graves, burning prayer paper and offering food, while Pilgrimage to the Grave emphasizes prayer and contemplation of death without the element of material offerings. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method to explore the experiences and meanings of ritual actors from both communities. The results of the study show that although there are fundamental differences in theological aspects and forms of practice, both have similar social values, such as respect for ancestors, strengthening family ties, and cleaning graves as a form of respect. These findings show that interfaith cultural practices have the potential to strengthen the values </em><em></em><em>of tolerance, social cohesion, and harmony between religious communities. The results showed that the level of respondents' understanding of the Dayak Banyadu traditional marriage procession and Church marriage law reached a very good percentage (80.00%), indicating adequate understanding among traditional leaders. However, the evaluation of the effectiveness of the Catholic Church's legal care for marriage still showed less than optimal results. This finding was reinforced by the results of interviews with three key informants who consistently stated that the care had not been effective. This practice is part of the religious heritage that is still preserved and developed in the community, and is carried out by local figures such as Mr. Shobari and Mr. Ponidi. This research employs a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that people not only understand the Qur'an textually, but also operationalize it in their daily lives, especially when facing diseases and non-physical disorders. The community widely accepts this practice because it is considered effective in providing inner peace, strengthening spirituality, and fostering a sense of dependence on Allah SWT. From the perspective of sharia and faith, this method falls under the category of ruqyah syar'iyyah, which is justified as long as it does not contain elements of shirk or deviant practices. The study also confirms that Qur'anic medicine is not intended to replace medical treatment, but rather serves as a complementary therapy that strengthens the religious and social dimensions of society. The church should take a role in responding to this problem. The research method that the author will use in this paper is the qualitative method of descriptive analysis. The author will also analyze the problem of why ethnicity is used as a political tool and will explore how the issue of ethnicity occurs in Indonesia and the functional role of the church in seeing this. This research uses theories about identity politics, religion in the public sphere by Habermas, Talcott Parsons' structural functionalism and Hendropuspito's religious functionalism. In a social society, of course religion as a social institution has a role and function in responding to situations that occur around it. The church does not mean being silent but has a prophetic voice to respond to this. The purpose of this discussion is to plan Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) da'wah efforts in addressing online gambling behavior within the Batang Toru District community. This research is included in the type of qualitative descriptive research. The results of the study show that, in the context of da'wah, the strategies developed to eradicate online gambling are varied. Therefore, serious thinking and movement are needed for da'i to anticipate the onslaught of online gambling sites and activities. Because of the complexity of the causes of the spread of online gambling, its eradication also requires a planned and organized strategy. The first step in planning da'wah is to recognize the real conditions of society. For suggestions, NU can conduct a needs assessment through a participatory approach, such as community discussions, local surveys, and in-depth interviews with community leaders. This study uses a phenomenological method with a literature study strategy to explore the meaning of words in the text of the Qur'an while reflecting on the social experiences that develop in society. The results of the study show that the meaning of the word marriage from the pre-Qur'anic to the post-Qur'anic period remains consistent as a sacred and legal bond or agreement between two individuals. The Qur'an emphasizes that marriage aims to create a sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah domestic life.
